This is an excellent caravan site with great facilities and location and super friendly wardens. At the heart of the site is a picturesque lake which creates a relaxing and peaceful ambiance. We were lucky to get a fully serviced pitch opposite the lake. It was idyllic. Pitches are spacious and there are a range of different types. There is even an adults only area. The facilities were excellent and the showers amazing - great water pressure, temperature control and no push buttons. The onsite shop was well stocked and there is a small bar and covered seating area which we enjoyed. There is a dog walk on site and further walking close by down a lane and in woods. The best bit though is the great dog wash. A proper dog wash sink with hot water!! We had a great time and we will be back.

We rang to book in for one night last minute as we were too tired to drive our camper van home to Dorset. We are so pleased we did :-) Booked in really easily, staff so friendly and kind. The site is beautiful, has everything you could wish for and is spotlessly clean. We had a drink at the bar and a crepe which was delicious. The showers are a dream and I particularly enjoyed the curtained off wash basins so you could dry off and get dressed after a shower. Thank you for having us :-)

We booked late on the day of arrival, received a quick and easy booking process over the phone with help for our onwards route the following day. We arrived late at night and Tom was waiting up for us to give us the key and show us the essentials. He was so warm and welcoming, sharing his love of the site, showing us the lake in the moonlight and getting us parked up in the late arrivals area. Amazing site, very clean and organised and wonderful people.

Just had 3 nights here. Beautiful quiet and peaceful site. Well stocked shop with daily newspapers to order. Heated amenity block ideal for this time of year. Mini bar Friday and Saturday evenings along with a crepe and pizza van. The only negative was the location of the bus stop, up to 15 minute walk along very busy road, but this will not stop us returning in the future.

A wonderful week.Staff very friendly. Graham and his team couldn't do enough to help. The pop up bar, the coffee lounge and, of course, the peacocks were a wonderful addition to our holiday. Our 10 year old grandson appreciated the football table, air hockey table and swingball. The pop up fish n' chips and pancake vans kept us well fed. A lovely holiday, we will be back!! Many thanks to all.
