This is a superb wild camping site. Very unique and secluded with alpacas and chickens (definitely no dogs allowed). There is a tripod provided to use cooking over a fire, drinking water, compost toilet and little sheltered areas with loads of character. There's a flat pitch big enough for one large bell tent or two family sized bell tents plus a copse suitable for hammocks and tarps or small tents. If you are into steam trains then this camp site is a must as a heritage steam train runs past in daylight hours. Great location with loads of walks in the immediate vicinity, close to the River Severn with the Wyre Forest on the opposite bank. The only thing I would say is, if you struggle with mobility then this might not be the camp site for you as the steps up to the compost toilet are very steep. Other than that, it's a brilliant wild camp site and we are looking forward to visiting again soon.

Lovely place to stay. Great hosts made us a camp fire on arrival. Really enjoyed staying here for the weekend and will definitely go again

Wouldn't ever stay here because the owner allows her poor alpacas to escape onto the road regularly and makes no attempt to retrieve them - says they come back by themselves eventually, but doesn't seem to realise that they're loose on a public road! They could be hit by a car because of her recklessness. No point trying to talk to her about the problem, because she appears to be utterly unreasonable (and apparently very drunk).

Lovely little campsite where you can camp in the wooded area amongst the trees. Short walk into Bewdley.
