Great site, open all year round. Lovely folks running it who keep it spotless and beautiful. Good location and there is noise from the motorway so bring earplugs if that bothers you, well worth the stop.

Great site as you would expect from camc. Not sure about having to carry rubbish and recycling across the site to save plastic bags. There is some motorway noise to be aware of, didn't bother us but we had heard people complain.

We have stayed at this site a dozen times and have always found it very well run, friendly and the great facilities that are kept pristine. We stayed in early April and had a problem with our jockey wheel. All the team came out to help and fixed it so that we could hook up. They are the most friendliest and helpful team and deserve a five star review. The site is secure, superbly located for getting onto the motorway networks and a short hop on the nearby railway at Bellshill ( free car parking) for enjoying the City of Glasgow. Without doubt the defining point of excellence is the whole team looking after you!

This campsite is great for people visiting Glasgow with a caravan or motorhome and they also accept tents. The site is open all year. The negatives are there is no public transport from the site. if you have a car the quickest way is to drive to Hamilton west rail station where there are trains every 15 minutes into the city centre. The other problem is road noise the site has busy motorways on 2 sides and the road noise is 24 hrs so if it has to be silent for you to sleep this isn't the site for you.

A stop over venue, just made it by 8pm. Was a race against the clock. Light road noise but ,coming from a town, I didn't really notice it. If you hail from a peaceful village it will be noisy. Lovely local walks in the evening. Clean, spacious, welcoming
