Never been on this site before but went with reviews I read ,not sure if good idea but they were right . After explaining everything we were told our ferry cancelled and had to use later one ,so we asked if we could pay for extra extended stay ,no problem. Made it much more stress free for us thank you ,would highly recommend to any one, very clean and tidy also friendly helpful staff.

A great site a short ride away from Southampton ferry port. We have used the site a couple of times to store the motorhome while we attended the Isle of Wight festival. Our stay there was lovely, very clean toilet and shower block. Laundry facilities on site and communal freezer. Stella and the warden were both very friendly. Would highly recommended this site and we will definitely be back.

Brilliant site. Accommodated us at short notice on a bank holiday sunday. The road past it is fairly busy and a 40mph limit and no pavement. A bit of traffic noise on the road side of the site, but not too bad. Well equipped site with large pitches.

The site actually deserves 4 stars. Unfortunately, you can hear the road very loudly all night long. But applause to the campsite operator of this otherwise beautiful site. She fought hard for this one star with all her might. We wanted a site, but didn't need electricity. Since all of her sites have electricity, we were refused a site on the almost empty campsite. But 80% of the sites were empty. We would have had to spend the night on a separate site away from the site behind a 2-meter-high solid fence, far away from the sanitary facilities. Crammed together on an abandoned long-term parking space for caravans. It felt like a prison or caravan cemetery. See Google Maps satellite view. The fact that you generally pay extra for using electricity on a campsite and not for the fact that electricity is available was naively ignored by the unreasonable lady from the campsite. There are also around 15 video cameras set up on the site. Big Brother is watching! If we hadn't already paid and were looking forward to seeing the beautiful city, we would have moved on immediately. So we paid an extra £5 for electricity to stay in the regular spot, which ultimately resulted in a full star deduction. The one star is just so you can read what awaits you here. Narrow-minded operators with no sense of reality or interest in customer satisfaction. Have a nice trip.

Lovely site, surprisingly quiet. Big pitches.
