Super helpful and friendly owner, quiet space, traditional basic campsite , but fine for a few nights, plenty of pitches to choose from.

At £10 a night this site is brilliant. No shower or toilet but available 120 seconds (literally 2 min walk) from the camp is a toilet. The regulars made our stay unforgettable and without them the stay would never have been the same. Came for 1 night and stayed 4. Will be returning.

Such a shame that this campsite is so neglected. The actual site is very pleasant, although you might be forgiven for believing you had entered a site for travellers. It is wonderfully located next to Markeaton Park. However you don't expect a lot for £10 per night but the advertised one and only chemical toilet was both full and inoperable and the elsan point is not fit for purpose, so waste disposal is a real problem. This is the second year we have stayed at this campsite particularly as it's location is ideal, but unfortunately there won't be a third. It's just not fit for purpose.

Excellent value for money . Secure quiet nice walk through a beautiful park to the bus stop 10 minutes into Derby Town centre

don't expect the luxury but expect back to basics camping got well maintained pitches friendly people who also look after the place an take payment has mains water supply but no toilet maybe one in the future but for 10 pound what more could ya ask for to stop of outside the city an explore derby with marketon Park an activity center two minutes down round and not forget the orchard cafe just past garden center
