Fabulous site. First impressions driving in was excellent. You drive past the stables, there are over 150 stables, lovely to see the horses. Site is very good, good pitches, own water and picnic table. Some have own grey waste. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Restaurant is fantastic, delicious meals, and you can sit and watch people in the arena on their horses. The only criticism was no disabled toilets or facilities and communal changing area for showers does not suit everyone, other than these, could not fault it, and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Absolutely lovely site and fantastic value. We stayed here for 10 nights in order to explore Glasgow and surrounding areas and it was perfect for that. Saw a lot of people stop off for one night, probably on their way further north, so clearly very popular for that too. Cocktails at the adjoining country club are definitely worth trying out. Very friendly grounds staff who really make you feel welcome. Only issue for some might be the communal shower rooms - showers are separate, but changing area is not. Both men's and women's shower rooms are like this.

nice clean quiet area. pitches are good size and each pitch has picnic table. warden is friendly and welcoming. there's no disabled facilities and I wasn't keen on the shower set up especially when children were in there. having private showers would be better. also there's no hot water for washing pots or in the sinks in toilets.

We found this little gem on pitchup.com. The site is small and perfect for a few days stay . We used the restaurant- the food was reasonably priced and had a good selection. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The young lady at reception was very helpful. Gary -we would like to thank you for having a chat and telling us about the future plans for the paddocks ( so sorry you got a call about the honey so late ) but thank you for the jars Mash and Angela

Fantastic place. Massive pitches, each with it's own picnic bench and plenty of space between them. Toilets are heated and very clean with shower gel and conditioner supplied. It's a pity that each shower doesn't have it's own changing area. Washing machine is the cheapest we've ever found at £1 an hour. Wardens are friendly and the site is well kept.
