Visited as a family of four in a tent, received a warm welcome and was given all the information we needed, views are amazing and are a definite highlight of this site. Fire pits can be hired, with logs which is a great touch for watching the sunset whilst toasting marshmallows. The pitches are on a slope causing a bad nights sleep as we was rolling out of the bed. The facilities are basic and not the cleanest. No hand wash in the bathroom for the majority of our stay. Unfortunately we would stay again.

Lovely little campsite, Ed the farmer is very helpful. Some parts of the site are on a slope, but we had a camper so not a problem for us. Toilet and shower block are ok, but could do with more, especially when it's busy. Could do with additional Pot washing facilitates, but overall we had a lovely stay.

Great site Ed is a great host. The site is just what you need if you're looking for a countryside escape. It's quiet, views are amazing. Ed will bring fire pits and fuel (at a small cost) so you can watch the sunset with a nice fire Pop to kniveton for a pint while you're there

Lovely site! We had a lovely stay, clean toilets and showers. Ed was always around if we needed anything (corkscrew) 😂 Will stay again had all a campsite needs.

Very basic shouldn't mean tatty. The access driveway is a suspension killer, no signs warning of this. The field is on a slope, uncomfortable camping and everything slides down in the tent. Due to rain, the field was impassable with cars so everything needed to be carried to your pitch. Finally, the facilities were awful. The toilet/shower block are very old and tatty, not well cleaned and no male/female segregation. £20 per night could have paid for Park Foot campsite at the lakes, look it up, this is what £20 should get you. Avoid this place at all costs.
