Just back from a short stay in Ash lodge. Would highly recommend. We had a great time, the lodge is really lovely and the wood fired hot tub was a hit with my son! Perfect for dogs, with a secure garden and straight out the gate into a dog walking field. Now we’ve holidayed with our dog we would definitely stay longer next time. Good base to explore from. Great hosts, with great communication from Sarah.

We had a two-night stay in "Poppy's Hut", and would highly recommend it to anyone who is after a relaxing, quiet break. It's a unique, beautiful hut with quirky features and lots of attention to detail. Sarah, the owner, is tentative but ultimately leaves you alone to enjoy your stay. We look forward to another visit soon.

A beautiful setting for a lovely campsite. The toilet and shower cabin is clean and well maintained. The camping pitches are generously sized with a picnic bench to sit at, a nice touch. Would happily visit again.

We greatly enjoyed our three nights in this idyllic campsite. It was lovely to meet and chat to the owners, Philip and Sarah, and they’ve created a beautiful place with well thought out tent and campervan pitches alongside the huts, yurts and lodges. Shower, washing and loo facilities are clean and well maintained, and the dog walking field was another thoughtful addition to the Tranwell Farm site. We would thoroughly recommend staying and will definitely be back if visiting Northumberland again!

Really enjoyed my stay. Entry was easy access. Owners are great communicators. Nice location, accommodation - love the wood burner. One negative was the lighting inside Rosie’s hut was poor.
