We have just spent a few nights at Wheathill. What a Beautiful location, picture perfect sunsets. Very clean facilities, the owners are friendly and welcoming. We all had a chance to enjoy the fishing. Overall we had a lovely time away, we would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning next year.

We stayed in the rent a tent for what was supposed to be a 2 night stay, giving the fact we had our 13 year old with us and opted for no electric. We thought that would be enough. We enjoyed it so much we stayed for another night. Loved the peace and quiet, views were amazing and sunsets out of this world. Husband couldn’t rate the lake highly enough after catching 40 carp in one day. Showers/toilets and washing up stations were kept spotlessly clean and well stocked even when campsite was full. Sarah and Mike thanks for a lovely stay.. we will see you soon 🙂

We stopped here for a night after touring Suffolk & Norfolk for 2 weeks and what an end to our trip! The site is situated on a hill with amazing views over wonderful countryside and was very quiet with excellent facilities. The pitches are well spaced and although the site was not busy I can imagine even at peak times you will still enjoy a quiet & peaceful time. The owner was very friendly and even gave us a punnet of her strawberries. The fishing is good too with a healthy stock of carp of all sizes.

Beautiful location with a lovely small camping/caravan site. 3 hard standing pitches along with grass pitches. 2 Shepherd huts on site to hire too. Literally in the middle of nowhere so lovely and quiet. Pub is a 10 minute walk away through the fields. Beautiful site with great facilities. Very clean and very well run. Fishing lake containing carp as well. Highly recommended.

Stayed for a weekend getaway with the kids, the campsite was spotless. Absolutely stunning views and the amenities were fantastic. Because you are in the middle of no where the night sky was stunning and if your lucky like us, sunsets are amazing! We didnt do any fishing but did see others catching bites so the pond does have some critters in it! Will definitely book again!
