Good price but pots, pans and plates had food remains on them. Floor was dirty so had to keep shoes on. Makes you wonder what else is dirty. They need to inspect it before new guests arrive. My sons bed was rubbish. Kept on falling over and really low to the ground. Tesco sells better beds for £25. No mattress on the kids beds so was uncomfortable. Tip, You need 2 bags of wood for the heating. It does warm up nicely. Almost broke my ankle with all the rabbit holes. Perhaps fill them up around the tent. Tent is not level and not on a wooden platform like some. So bed is sloping down. With a bit of improvement it could be a lot nicer.

This is a cracking campsite. Very clean and tidy and only a short walk to the nearest pub. Which on my opinion is the best in town. Unfortunately no electric hook up it that shouldn't stop you going there..just beware of the red kites. They will swoop for food

Had a fantastic stay, two nights of peace and quiet… lovely sunset, really night nature park walks, great country vibe pubs and most places are dog friendly

We booked two nights at White Mark Glamping for my sons 1st birthday after seeing them on 'Four in a Bed'. The location and setting are fantastic, very quiet and relaxing. The communal facilities, including the shower and toilet block are clean and well positioned. The biggest problem is the poor state of the tent we booked. The advertised King Size bed was a double, and the two single beds were a single mattress on the floor, and a camp bed with a blanket, fine for the army but not ideal for a 1 or 4 yr old! The weather during our stay was really nice but still went cold at night, unfortunately the camp stove was blocked and pumped the smoke into the tent, a huge health hazard, and as the bottom had collapsed on the rusty fire pit outside we had no heating. We messaged Martin who advised us that it wasn't that cold and he would not come out. After a terrible night with 2 adults and two very small children all sleeping in a double bed to try and stay warm, we decided to leave, loosing the second night we booked. The hosts were apologetic but we were left feeling very disappointed and it ruined my sons first birthday. This could be a a fantastic destination but its being let down by a lack of maintenance or upkeep. The tent had only two seats outside, no table and no lighting, all basic things for a family. Because of the stove fault we couldn't cook or heat water for any drinks and with no electric, it felt were basic. We couldn't recommend anybody stay here in the current condition.

Lovely quiet camp site when I was there. Could have done with some levelling blocks but it was just what I wanted, as was stopping one night and moving on. Found by accident. Would recommend, was super town, although did not get a chance to have a real good explore. For nature livers rather than anyone wanting to be entertained! Small, cute and nice views with very friendly owner. Dogs allowed. Would stay again.
