Amazing place, just off the M1. Just stayed for 3 nights with my son and dog, so peaceful and quiet, fantastic walks around the site and close to Bradgate Park. Everywhere in the area is very dog friendly. The cabin was quite spacious, clean and had everything you would need, hottub was much needed after all the walking. Big shout out to Clare and Steve, always on hand if needed and nothing was too much trouble, thank you both. I highly recommend this place and will be returning.

We had the most amazing stay at Charnwood Forest. Steve greeted us and showed us around, even though we were later than expected Steve took the time to share recommendations with us and where we could go with our puppy. Clare come to see us when passing the following day and was helpful sharing recommendations and that our puppy was allowed to go in the pond. We loved our stay in the Chestnut they really go the extra mile with finishing touches such as having soap in the dispenser in the bathroom. The honesty shed was so handy being able to get fire wood when needed. Our puppy enjoyed it even more than us. She even took it upon herself to make it known it was her holiday whilst relaxing on the sun lounger! Thank you both for such a great stay would totally recommend so much to do in the area with dogs too!

Amazing, would definitely recommend, especially to couples! Everything was just as described and very peaceful and clean, the area was well looked after and felt very private, most importantly the owners Clare and Steve were very attentive and welcoming, which really added to our trip. There’s lots of lovely places to visit nearby and the surroundings had a really nice feel to them! We went for my partners birthdays and Clare made it so special for us..Would definitely return :)

Just had two nights here as a mini break for us, our two boys and our dog. The wigwam itself was absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean and had great facilities! The site is gorgeous with plenty of trees, nature to spot and wonderful views. We used the honesty shed anf purchased some crisps (we had forgotten to pack them!) which is a great addition to the site. We were made to feel welcome immediately by Clare who showed us to our cabin, she is a superstar and generally a lovely human, which is always nice albeit rare to find! The site is a stones throw away from bradgate park which we enjoyed exploring, we will definitely be back soon! Thankyou for having us!

Our second getaway at this stunning place, cannot recommend it enough it truly is magical & not forgetting Clare & Steve 🫶🏻 they are amazing cannot thank them enough (and for helping with our hot tub 😊) 2nd time and already planning our 3rd, 4th & 5th… 😂 thank you once again… Lauren & Wayne x
