If you are looking for something a bit different then look no further!! This place is delightfully random and such a fun place to spend time. The accommodation is amazing and quirky and perfect for kids (and their parents!). We stayed in Galahad (helicopter) and the kids were in their idea of heaven when pressing buttons, pulling levers and sitting in the original cockpit! The site has a great social area which is lovely to spend an evening chatting to other families. It's impossible to completely do this place justice in one review so if you can go and experience it for yourself do it, you won't regret it!!

Great campsite in a beautiful and quiet location, with few interesting places to explore on foot, as well as good connections by car. The site is not very big so it doesn't feel crowded. The huts are really cute, comfortable and fully equipped. All facilities are kept clean and tidy. Rhys and Stew were lovely, welcoming and helpful, we're definitely coming back to stay in the helicopter or submarine (which we were too late to book this year!) Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

We were in the UFO and what can I say.. It was great. Plenty of space (pun intended) for 2 people and a 2 y/o inside the UFO, plus 2 more beds in the space station. Very clean, spotless! Great hosts! The campsite itself is so unique with great humor, nice little details and creative ideas all around. Kids had a great time there, with lots of things to discover. Parents had a great time because the kids had a safe space to explore and great get-togethers happened in the social area. Would 100% recommend.

We returned for our fourth visit to Windmill Campersite (camping rather than in one of their fantastic accommodation options). Cannot rate this quirky, friendly and fun site more highly. The showers, kitchen facilities and loos are spotlessly clean; the site is beautifully maintained. From the honesty shop to the pirate ship to the shower shack to the pizza oven to the evening camp fire to the cinema in a silo, the whole place is put together with thought, humour and care. The kids ask to come back year after year; it’s social and great fun for adults too. Stay for a night or two or for the whole of the summer…. Warm welcome guaranteed.

We were on a cycling adventure with the Windmill Campersite as our home base. We spent 2 nights camping in our tent and upgraded the tent for the sweet Millie shepherd's hut for the third night. All the facilities are spotless, imaginative and fully functional. The campsite offers the full range of amenities that you would need and more! We were blown away at the attention to detail. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. We'd definitely stay here again if we go back to the Isle of Wight and would highly recommend a stay at this exceptional campsite. Thanks so much!!
