I am very grateful to Liam for helping me choose a good pair of walking boots this morning at the Hull Winfield store. Liam was approachable and knowledgeable about the range of materials used in the boots, which helped me come to a decision. Also great to know you’re talking to staff who enjoy outdoor activities and have first hand experience of the products they sell. Would definitely recommend.

I have used this store many times over the years as my place to go for my walking equipment. Whilst not as large as some of the main chain outdoor adventure stores, it has a more personal feel with friendly staff helping you to find the item you were looking for, as well as a few extra accessories you didn't know you needed until a gentle suggestion, or are found in the same areas.

Travelled from Rotherham to visit the store in Hull for the second time. First time we bought the double camp bed and memory foam self inflating mattress (which is excellent). This time we bought a camping stove. Duel ring with adapter to take 3 gas canisters. We were helped by a sales assistant named Jack D. Now this young man is a credit to the store, he answered all our questions, if he didn't know the answer he went to find it. He demonstrated the stove, advised us on connections for pipes, took the products out of the boxes so we didn't have to dispose of the packaging. He was a genuine helpful guy. Thanks Jack.

Wow! Other than a camp site I've never seen so many tents in one place. Staff are friendly, approachable, and very knowledgeable. Added bonus, great with my disabled little one too. There are 3 floors of stuff to explore here. Certainly worth the 40min drive. Ample free parking at the rear of the place too.

Went there today store itself is impressive, Was trying to find a specific bench chair staff member said she would be back in a few seconds never appeared and left us waiting. Went round to find somebody else but everyone became busy with someone else. Felt understaffed for size of the place in the end we just left and went too go Outdoors and got the stuff which we required
