Lovely site, some road noise. Lovely nearby pub, canal and mini golf. Small Tesco within 3 minute drive. Only 4* given as the bottom gate should be accessible via a code rather than accessible to outsiders 🙄

Stayed here for a weekend in the caravan with some camping friends. The staff are pleasant and facilities are superb. Feedback from the campers was notably how impressed they were with the toilet and showering facilities. The nearby pub is so close you could almost say it was on site . Over the weekend we hardly cooked as we mostly eat in the pub where the dogs were also welcomed outside and in the main bar but not inside the restaurant, but you can eat in the bar so no worries. Dog friendly site and a large enclosed sports field, with a poo bag bin, adjacent to site to walk the dogs . Easy and pleasant 20 min walk to the village of Cookley, quicker if you bring a bicycle, where there is a Tesco Express, more pubs and a chippy. Would defenitely recommend.

Just returned home from this site and we loved, loved, loved every minute we where there, the facilities are great and spotlessly clean, the staff are super helpful and friendly nothing was to much trouble for them, the amazing dog field was a huge bonus and the lock inn a 2 min walk is a definite must. We will definitely visit again

The staff here were very friendly and helpful and the site was perfectly placed for walks along the canal and around the village. Excellent and clean facilities. Will definitely return.
