Such a find! We are not campers in the traditional sense but the set up here makes it so easy to get settled and relax! The setting is stunning and views of the Downs were great. The showers are amazing lots of hot water and great to have a double shower option with kids! Stella was a perfect host and we enjoyed her cooking very much and local recommendations. It was very chilled and quiet and we loved the option to have a camp fire in the evenings. Our children loved the freedom and the shaded woods with the fun rope swing was a hit (esp on the hottest day of the year!) We will definitely return next year and recommend to friends! Thanks Stella and team keep up the good work!

Amazing location. Beautiful to wake up to amazing view of the South Downs. The meals, as always for Woodfire, were amazing. I love waking up to bacon and egg sarnies and returning back to camp for a home-cooked meal. Great to see Stella and Griff expanding to another location. Compost toilets were clean and showers were great - the hot water was appreciated on the colder days. This location is much larger than Westerlands and so didn’t feel crowded at all despite it being bank holiday weekend.

We LOVED camping here for the weekend. The field was beautiful, quiet, with loads of space and very lovely facilities. Really appreciated the allowance of proper campfires too. But really we came for the food and it did not disappoint! Five stars every single dish, quality ingredients, nice choice, delicious. It really made our stay special and relaxing and we will definitely be returning. Thank you!

This is a gorgeous campsite! The team were so lovely and welcoming and make some fantastic food. The toilets, showers and washing up facilities are also lovely and well maintained. Overall, this campsite has a lovely relaxed feel and the surrounding countryside is gorgeous for walking in and exploring. We will definitely be back!

We had an amazing time at Woodfire campsite! When we arrived we were greeted by Stella who made us feel very welcome and explained the layout of the site. Due to wheelbarrow not being available we were able to drive onto the site and to drop off our kit and set up before driving back to the car park. The facilities were extremely clean and tidy and the showers were always hot! We had dinner at the on site kitchen once and it was incredible, generous portions which were delicious (wish we ate there every night) The logs we bought on site were a bit wet due to them being stored outside so a log store or cover for this area would help keep the logs dry and useful for camp fires etc Although we didn’t get ideal camping weather, it couldn’t spoil the amazing time we had. Thank you to all the staff for making us feel so welcome
