This site deserves 5 star reviews. This is an adult only site which makes it very quiet and peaceful. When we arrived the lady on reception was extremely helpful. The pitches are huge, very well maintained with hedges in between. Sanitary block very clean with plenty of showers. The whole campsite is beautiful with a small lake for fishing in the centre for people onsite. Bus to York just outside main entrance and big shopping area about 5 minutes drive away. We loved it and definitely will be back.

Brilliant location with bus into centre of York right at entrance to campsite - 10 minute journey. Beautiful park, well maintained, nice level pitches. Great facilities on site as well. Agree with previous review or two that it would be good to know if the bathrooms were vacant or not without having to try half a dozen door handles to see if locked or not 😂. Definitely five star site and well worth fee.

Lovely site. But at £46 per night it is expensive. When that only includes £3 worth of electric it means that if we choose to put the heating on in the van we will be paying extra for electric. At £46 per night i don’t expect to have to pay extra to have a warm van. I understand why the site has introduced this policy - and I suspect more sites will go the same way.

It's a very great camper/caravan park. Very clean and wel maintained. Great showers and clean toilets. Very quiet, day and night. In 10 minutes with the bus to town centre of stunning York. Stops at the entrance of the camping. Very friendly owners. It's not cheap, but we will definitely return to this site if we want to visit York again (And so many other great things to do in the area)

Great place to stay in York. Pitched up the M/H in pitch 53. Amazing view over the lake. Honestly it has to be one of the best pitches for views in the past 3 years. Everything is charged as an extra even the dogs yet the Gate in the dog area doesn’t close properly. It’s a shame but if you charge extra for dogs as I understand that you have to give up that area instead of pitching it but if there is a charge them repair the basics please. Bathrooms lovely and large. No in use in the shower room doors a tad strange. But hey I’m just commenting. Reality a lovely place if you want to visit York and the North East coast.
