Had a wonderful stay at Naburn lock. The location is beautiful, surrounded by fields with the river Ouse to the back. There are buses that run outside and take you into York centre and if you’re feeling adventurous, you could even cycle into the centre which takes around an hour. The staff were very polite and friendly, and they have a farm shop with locally sourced produce in the reception area. Would highly recommend!

Very friendly site, Managers and Owner extremely helpful and kind. Toilet facilities were being rebuilt but our service pitch had water, grey waste and electricity. The black waste was nearby. Adults only and good dog walk made our stay very enjoyable and peaceful.

Great site, all pitches really roomy and level. Staff helpful and friendly. Lovely short walk to the nearby lock. Great access to York City Centre (you can get a boat from the lock to the city so no need to take the car.

Fabulous location. George and Amanda were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The pitches are roomy and level and well kept. We loved the river bus cruise into York.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay and we loved it. Even though the facilitities not finished yet it wasnt a problem at all. We had a great pitch and have booked to return in 4 weeks time. Amanda was so welcoming and helpful. Lovely lady. Cant wait to return
