Ideal location for visiting York, a 15-minute walk along the side of the river and you are in the heart of the city. Typical CAMC site, well kept with clean, warm toilet and showers. Friendly wardens. I feel that the pitches are not as spacious as most CAMC sites, a little cramped together but we had a great stay never the less. Some great bars and restaurants to the back of the site which you get a key for the gate when checking in for easier access.

What a lovely site. It's all kept extremely tidy and with very good sized pitches. The toilets and showers were excellent and they were kept spotless. The staff were friendly and helpful and the convenient location for York Centre gets 10/10. We had our dog with us. Immediately out of the main gates, turn right for a nice long dog walk. A great stay. Will definitely return.

This is our first visit to this site. It couldn't have a better location. You can walk right into York in minutes! The site itself is very well looked after, with the pitches all in good condition. Everything is really tight and almost urban in its look. There are not as many green areas as other Caravan and motorhome sites, but this is expected. It is in the middle of the town. The staff members are friendly and really good at what they do. I thoroughly recommend the site. Make sure you read the directions on how to get to the site. The sat nave may try to take you to places you do not want to go too!

Sorry it was cayton village campsite Just come back from campsite. Stayed in camper van with grandchildren. 4 lots of families also stayed. They put us all together as requested. Kids loved it. Very friendly staff. This was our second stay here. Spotlessly clean. Great showers. Easy access to Bridlington and Scarborough on the bus. Will be going back.

Great place to stay if you want to see York City Centre and the areas around. This is a lovely city, and a fascinating place. Will come back again!
